The book is a continuation of the author's earlier works on Anglo-Soviet relations in 1917 - 1929. This study examines Anglo-Soviet political relations in 1929 - 1945 - during the first stage of the general crisis of the capitalist system. The author shows the peace-loving foreign policy of the Soviet Union, its struggle against the unleashing of the Second World War. The monograph examines the cooperation and struggle of the countries of the anti-Hitler coalition against fascism, shows the decisive role of the Soviet Union in defeating the fascist aggressors. The book is based on a wide range of Soviet and foreign documentary sources, archival materials, memoirs and other literature.
