On July 1, 1968, Moscow, Washington and London began signing the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, a milestone on the road to general nuclear disarmament. The present work is devoted to the main international legal problems related to non-proliferation of nuclear weapons and other urgent nuclear disarmament measures. The author provides a detailed critique of modern imperialist concepts designed to justify the Western powers' rejection of radical nuclear disarmament measures. Considerable attention is paid to practical steps in this direction, which are on the line after the conclusion of the Non-Proliferation Treaty. The work is intended for all readers interested in contemporary international relations and law - propagandists and international lecturers, researchers - jurists, teachers, journalists, students and postgraduates of humanitarian universities.
