This collection of articles is a continuation of the “Translator's Notebook”, published by the Translation Department of the 1st MGTIIJL from 1958 to 1962, and aims to reflect a living “creative laboratory” of translation thought, to provide an opportunity to raise and discuss topical issues of everyday translation practice, for methodological and practical advice, critical remarks, discussion statements on various translation issues, and, finally, for translation experiments, proposals on various variants of translation of this or that text.
