In the work on the basis of Soviet legislation, as well as international treaties and agreements in which the USSR participates, the legal regulation of relations on sale and purchase and other most important types of foreign trade contracts is outlined. The regulation of relations related to foreign trade on supply of goods for export and fulfillment of orders for import of goods is also considered. To the memory of Honored Scientist of the RSFSR, Doctor of Law, Professor Dmitry Mikhailovich Genkin (1885–1966) is dedicated.
