The book analyzes the main principles of the equalitarian understanding of equality as equality on the basis of poverty and regulation of all aspects of life and exposes the attempts of the Maoist leadership to put into practice the ideals of petty-bourgeois, barracks "communism" in China, as well as its attempts to pass off military-garrison equality as the only kind of communist equality.
