The book characterises modern forms and methods of economic influence on foreign policy used by bourgeois diplomacy. It is shown that one of the main goals of the economic diplomacy of imperialism is to oppose socio-economic reforms in developing countries, the transition of these countries to the path of non-capitalist development. Special sections are devoted to the analysis of diplomatic activities of the main Western countries in international economic organisations. The struggle of the diplomacy of the USSR and other socialist countries for peace and security of peoples, for mutually beneficial international economic cooperation, support of progressive demands of developing countries by socialist diplomacy is analysed.
