The monograph is devoted to the study of the main directions of French foreign policy and its foreign policy concepts under Ch. de Gaulle, J. Pompidou and V. Giscard d'Estaing. New moments in the policy of F. Mitterrand's government are also considered. Special attention is paid to the military-political doctrines of the French leadership in the 60-70s. A significant place is taken by the analysis of France's positions on such cardinal international problems as détente, disarmament, European security.
