Cuba in world politics

The book tells about the life and activities of the outstanding leader and ideologist of the national movement of India M.Gandhi. It provides a critical analysis of the socio-political, religious and philosophical teachings of M. Gandhi. For the first time the monograph analyses in detail the fundamental principles of the foreign policy of the Republic of Cuba and undertakes a comprehensive study of its increased and active role in modern international relations. Special attention is paid to Cuba's fraternal relations with the Soviet Union and other countries of the socialist commonwealth. The authors thoroughly examine such important directions of Cuba's foreign policy as its participation in the Non-Aligned Movement, relations with the countries of Africa, Asia and Latin America, business ties with developed capitalist states, activities in the UN and other international organisations. A significant place is given to exposing and criticising the aggressive anti-Cuban course of the USA, and the firm determination of the Cuban people to defend the gains of the revolution and build a socialist society is shown.
