A significant place in the book is given to Romania's participation in the anti-Soviet war, the struggle of the CPR against the policy of national betrayal of the ruling circles, the preparation and conduct of the anti-fascist uprising of August 23, 1944 and the further withdrawal and participation of the people's democratic Romania in the war against Germany and its satellites.
