About the author

With the expansion of our country's cultural ties with other countries, interest in learning foreign languages, and German in particular, has grown considerably. Nowadays, every person graduating from secondary school or higher education institution is to some extent familiar with the elementary basics of phonetics, grammar and vocabulary of a foreign language. However, foreign language learners often lack the most general information about the development and origin of the language they are learning. This brochure therefore aims, on the one hand, to fill this gap and, on the other hand, to arouse some interest in learning German.
