The proposed work is devoted to an urgent and little-studied problem. The author shows the special nature of China's relations with the overseas Chinese bourgeoisie, which are based on Beijing's fundamental concessions to this bourgeoisie. Beijing expects that an alliance with it will facilitate the realization of its great-power plans in Southeast Asia and bring tangible economic benefits. The facts presented in this paper and the author's assessments prove that the PRC practically participates in the exploitation of the peoples of the developing countries of Asia and thus opposes itself to the national liberation movement.
