The book is made up of three parts. The first contains documents from the so-called personal archive of I.V. Stalin – reports from Soviet intelligence that put light on the secret intentions of the ruling parties in Poland, Germany and Japan to develop pressure against the USSR as part of the legal mechanism of pushing Germany towards the East, supposedly during the second half of 1935. It also contains the text of a secret Polish German agreement made 25th February 1934 and documents from Polish reconnaissance about moving a potential fifth column that would include Polish citizens, from western areas deep into the USSR during 1934-1935. The second and third parts illustrate the secret strings of a small war, that is, the mechanism allowing Poland’s political leaders at that time to create a reason to go to war with neighboring countries, including the Soviet Union and Czechoslovakia.
For state actors, politicians, diplomats, and university students in humanities faculties.
