The monograph contains a detailed characterization of relations between the FRG and the People's Republic of China, the leadership of which for many years has been trying to use the West German partner in the struggle against Marxism-Leninism, world socialism, primarily against the Soviet Union.

The author shows that, for their part, the imperialist circles of the FRG, going for cooperation with the PRC, staked on the use of the “Chinese card” for anti-Soviet, anti-communist and revanchist purposes. The book reveals the untenability of the calculations of the Maoists and West German reaction.
