The book deals with topical aspects of the activities of the UN apparatus at the present stage.

In recent years, the issue of ensuring normal conditions for the activities of the missions of a number of states to the UN, primarily socialist states, in respect of which illegal activities have been launched, significantly hampering their normal functioning, has acquired great political acuteness. This issue was discussed at the 16th and subsequent sessions of the UN General Assembly. In this connection, the author draws attention to the main international legal instruments regulating the relevant issues.
