The monograph examines a number of important problems put forward by the Berlin Conference of Communist and Workers' Parties of Europe: the struggle of the countries of socialism, the communist and workers' movement for peace and social progress in Europe, socio-political and ideological aspects of the current development of events on the continent, the issues of strengthening international solidarity of communists and other progressive forces in the struggle against anti-communism and reaction. The book pays great attention to the influence of the Great October Revolution on the development of social processes in Europe. The book is a joint publication of the authors of the NRB, the GNR, the GDR, the PNR, the USSR and the Czechoslovakia.
