The reign of fascist dictator Ion Antonescu was a dark period in the history of Romania, when the country, being in Hitler's bondage, participated in the anti-Soviet war. Based on rich documentary material taken from the archives, the book covers this period. It reveals the contradictions in the fascist Romanian top brass, Hitler's attitude to the rivalry between I.
