Natalia A. Kulishenko got a master degree in International relations of the Diplomatic Academy. Her book is the first biography of Her late Majesty, Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother of Great Britain (1900–2002) in the Russian language. The author examines evaluation of her personality as monarch, family life in the Royal court, growth of her influence, her accession to the throne, details of her involvement in rendering help to Stalingrad and the circumstances of the awarding her the title of an Honorary Citizen of the City and other unknown earlier details of the British Queen`s life. Introduction to the book is written by Ambassador to Great Britain in 1997–2000 Yuri Fokin. The text is accompanied by photographs from private achieves and the Fund of the Stalingrad battle`s museum. The research is supposed to be of use both to diplomats leaving for their post abroad to Great Britain and to wide readership.
