The book deals with the issues of conclusion, validity and termination of treaties between states in the light of the work of the Vienna Conference of the UN in 1968 - 1969. A great place in the book is given to the USSR's struggle for democratization of the law of international treaties at the Vienna Conference, and some provisions of the Vienna Convention on the Law of Treaties are analyzed. The work is part of the course on the law of international treaties, delivered by the author at the Faculty of Law of Moscow State University.
