The monograph, written by a team of professors and teachers of the Higher Diplomatic School of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the USSR, reveals the practical implementation of Lenin's principles of socialist diplomacy in the relations of socialist countries, in their relations with developing countries and with capitalist countries, in its activities in the UN. In this connection, the forms and methods of socialist diplomacy are explored. The monograph reveals the leading role of communist and workers' parties in the field of socialist foreign policy and diplomacy. A significant place is given to the analysis of the decisions of the XXIV Congress of the CPSU and their role in the struggle for peace and security in our days. The authors criticize bourgeois and revisionist distortions in the issues of socialist diplomacy, and highlight the problems of modern ideological struggle.
