The work is devoted to the most urgent problems of modern international trade. Consideration of these problems is linked to the analysis of the decisions of the UN Conference on Trade and Development (1964) - the most important international economic conference of the post-war period. Much space in the book is devoted to the foreign trade problems of developing countries, in particular to the problems of expanding exports of traditional raw materials, the development of exports of semi-finished and finished goods, and the use of foreign capital. The decisions of the conference on foreign trade problems of developing countries are considered. The author pays great attention to the need to normalize trade relations between industrialized capitalist and socialist countries as the most natural basis for peaceful coexistence of countries with different economic systems. The book describes the shortcomings in the system of international organizations dealing with international trade, substantiates the need to create a universal international trade organization. The work is intended for a wide range of readers interested in the economy of foreign countries, international economic relations and trade. It can be useful for propagandists, teachers and students of higher educational institutions.
