The author is a member of the Foreign Press Association, founded in New York. Since 1995 his articles have been actively published in the main Russo-American periodicals – New Russian Word, Panorama, Forverts, In the New World, to name a few. His involvement in the press was accelerated thanks to collaboration with Georgiy Vayner, who was the chief editor of New Russian Word. After many years of work, Zakashansky published two monographs on the USA – America from the inside and And this is all America.

This book contains different facts and reflects journalistic opinions on many facets of American life, including impressions from the meeting the leading figures of New York City and State.

It is aimed at readers who are interested in current issues in the USA, American lifestyle and the opinions of unique people, both guests and inhabitants of the USA.
