In 1962 and 1963 The IMO publishing house published a textbook by I. A. Velikopolskaya “Learn to Speak Spanish.” This manual is in wide demand and has gone through two editions. Taking into account the wishes of Soviet readers and their growing interest in learning the Spanish language, the publishing house “International Relations” prepared the course “Curso del español” by L. Mejido and P. Pillares. This manual is intended for students studying Spanish at universities, in courses and independently. It consists of 25 lessons on everyday topics. Exercises are given for each text. The manual also includes a textbook Spanish-Russian dictionary.
