Today many think that it disadvantageous to be an honest person with strong morals and that success is only for the crafty, cunning and greedy. However, the development of Japanese society in 21st century will refute this widely spread misconception, which is inevitably leading to the collapse of civilization. Instead, the Japanese are putting forward a way of life based on moral cleanliness and the improvement of the moral principles of each individual, which will give each person the feeling of happiness and calmness. It is logical that eastern wisdom with its principles of introversion (looking into one’s inner world) declares the existence, first and foremost of moral, not material values, seeing them as the only way for a person to attain a happy life. In this work of research, the authors have tried to analyze the conditions that enable Japanese society to maintain high moral principles, what makes Japanese civilization healthy, stable and able to keep moving along the path of progress and prosperity with confidence.
